An Amazing Children’s Picture Book

Hello…

We would love to introduce an amazing children’s picture book written by Reiko Matsui. She is not only known as a children’s picture book writer but also a composer, pianist and piano teacher who established her own teaching method called Matsui Method.

The title of the book is ‘Shiroi Kabasan To Ohoshisama No Kinnoito’ (A White Hippo And A Golden Thread From The Star) and this is her third edition of A White Hippo series.

With an abundance of beautiful pale colour, this book tells us how precious caring about others is and you are not the only one who is suffering. You can experience Reiko’s pure and honest attitude towards life with her somehow fragile but gentle and pristine sensitivity. We can highly recommend this book to not only children but also adults.

An amazing fact about the making of this book is that she created it in 5 days even she was extremely busy teaching her students. In the first couple of days she produced 8 pages but on the fifth day she managed to finish rest of the 38 pages. She is a person who has an enormous creative energy.

She also told us that she was listening to our ‘en’ album again and again during the creation of the book, especially Orange Sky which she listened to nearly 100 times, giving her so much inspiration.

When we heard this story we were just over the moon as we were so happy to know our music has some contribution to this amazing book and it’s creator.

She also came down to my gig in Yokohma to show her support to O-ARC music. I was truly touched.
